This position is responsible for the network setup and key operator training for Americom’s newly placed multi-function printer (MFP’s) sales. This is a customer-facing position with high levels of customer service expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Network installation, setup, and training of newly placed MFP’s, wide formats, and printers.
  • Management, installation, and troubleshooting of 3rd party software applications (Kyocera Cloud Print and Scan, uniFLOW, Fax Station, etc.)
  • Work with customers remotely or on site to troubleshoot and resolve copier network connection issues
  • Work closely with the Remote Resolutions Group and help with any remote sessions when available
  • Perform customer site surveys for new sales- collecting as much data from the current machine(s) so the installation is as plug and play as possible.
  • Helping make sure all devices are tagged with QR codes for future service needs
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills to work with customers in setting up equipment in their unique environments
  • Work effectively with Americom employees to deliver and exceptionally high level of customer service to our customers

Reporting and Action Items

  • Daily reporting to the Logistics Manager of closed calls, including software installations/reinstallations.

Expectations of the Job

  • Ability to work during the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Additional hours may be required and available from time to time.
  • Reports directly to the Logistics Manager and to participate in service-related meetings.
  • Continuing education on software and hardware products.
  • Operate within Americom’s culture and towards the satisfaction of Americom’s mission statement

Physical Expectations of the Job

  • Ability to speak clearly and effectively communicate via telephone and in person.
  • Ability to utilize a laptop for data entry purposes.
  • Ability to physically move copiers to assist with deliveries and installations
  • Solid understanding and general knowledge of computer networking and how that relates to Americom’s product line of copiers and mfp’s
  • Ability to lift 100 lbs.

The Account Executive is expected to manage an existing customer list while acting as a consultant. By taking a consultative approach to selling, this person will learn to identify and qualify prospective and current customers’ needs, turn needs into sales opportunities, and achieve quota fulfillment.

Americom is looking for motivated individuals who want to control their earning potential and are willing to perform at a high activity level. The ideal candidate for this position excels at prospecting for new business, presenting solutions to satisfy prospective customers, and closing new opportunities. The Managed IT Service and Print Hardware Supply Salesperson is expected to manage an existing customer list while acting as a consultant. By taking a consultative approach to selling, this person will learn to identify and qualify prospective and current customers’ needs, turn needs into sales opportunities, and achieve quota fulfillment.

  • Fulfill minimum revenue and profit expectations
  • Successfully generate business from new and existing customer accounts
  • Identify key contacts and manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives
  • Build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers
  • Utilize our customer relationship management software to maintain a project pipeline and create strategic accounts

Americom, founded in 1990, is a leading provider of Managed Services for Print, IT, and VoIP. Due to our growth we are seeking a self-motivated, energetic, results-driven Sales Representative to manage an assigned local territory out of our St. Louis Branch.

In this role, you’ll be focused on driving new business and managing key accounts. The ideal candidate is an experienced B2B sales professional who excels at relationship building and is focused on helping clients achieve their desired outcomes. We seek individuals that thrive in a high-energy, performance-driven environment that are passionate about delivering exceptional value and growing their business in a vibrant industry.

  • Achieve Personal Quotas
    Meet and exceed financial expectations and growth objectives.
  • Drive New Business Growth
    Enthusiastically drive growth of net-new customers for Managed Print and our cutting-edge Managed IT Services. Generate leads through prospecting, networking, and in-person engagement with local business owners, C-Suite executives, and IT leadership.
  • Manage Key Accounts
    Serve your clients as a trusted advisor. Build and maintain long-term relationships, expand solution offerings, deliver on promises made, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Solution-Based Selling
    Analyze client print, IT, and telephony infrastructure to identify inefficiencies and gaps in security and performance. Collaborate with resources at Americom to present, demonstrate, and deliver tailored, consultative solutions that solve client challenges and create long-term value.
  • Pipeline & CRM Management
    Organize and put strategic plans into action through proper CRM utilization and pipeline management.

Requirements- Preferred

  • A positive attitude and results-driven mentality
  • 2+ years of B2B outside sales experience
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and face-to-face interactions)
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to manage a multi-stage sales process from initial contact, to closing business, and delivering on expectations.
  • Consistent effort to drive net-new business acquisition
  • Willingness to work in or travel as needed within the greater St. Louis marketplace (valid drivers license and clean driving record required)
  • Proficiency with CRM systems; strong organizational and time-management skills.
